GDI review based on my experience
Yes, I tried GDI, too. I just had to because everybody was talking about it, and how much they earn, and how great it is...is it?
Well, first thing first. What is GDI? GDI or Global Domain International is a website that sells .ws domains. Nothing new until here. But this business is presented like e huge money making opportunity and leads generating, and it seams that everybody is in it.
To join GDI you need to pay $10 and you have a trial period of 7 days. After that you can cancel your account anytime (about the account cancelling, you have to call and confirm that you indeed requested this, or send them an e-mail and ask them to call you). And I said, why shouldn't I try this opp, too, I mean it's only ten buck between me and "happiness". And I gave it a shot..
So, you paid $10/ a month (!) and I received my own domain name... let's face it, I could have found cheaper, a lot more cheaper.
After I signed up I received a lot of welcome e-mails from my up line, and this is a great thing that could be implemented in any business or program that involves referrals.
Among the e-mails I received, also the steps that I should follow in order to succeed.
The first step that drew my attention was one advertising method: using yahoo! small businesses. OK, first of all, I don't want to sound a little bit bitchy, but before joining GDI, they promised to give me $100 to advertise my site, and it sound like they'll give it to me from their own pocket; anyway, as they stated, they do gave me $100 for advertising, but see for yourself how much they make for showing me how to advertise with yahoo. Next, they introduced me BidVertiser, and again, see for yourself how much they can make just for showing me the most successful money making receipt.
The steps that I was talking about are these (I'm showing you this, so you don't have to pay 10 bucks to see what is the all big deal):
1. Step1
2. Step2
And I don't want to know how much money they can make knowing that you'll get a $1 lousy commission/sign up or $100/5 sign ups... you do the math, because I don't want to find out.
One lesson I learnt: before joining one program, ask yourself what's in it for the owner? If he/she make a lot more the common sense think twice before you get them rich.
There is also, of course the possibility to make your own program where you find a good affiliate program that involves selling domains or stuff like that, and then put your referral links from all traffic exchange well known websites so people can join your down line, you get the big bucks and all the working crowd will get a small commission. That's how you can get rich! It's sound like I just gave you another money making idea, right?
I hope I helped you to make think twice before making a decision...
But, again, this is what I think about GDI and that's why I made this GDI review.
